Public’s hate and fear on display in search engine’s “autocomplete” feature

What does stigma look like? This series uses a search engine’s autocomplete feature to highlight common opinions on people with mental illnesses. The autocomplete results show how mental illnesses are commonly associated with violence and crime, and reveal horrifying opinions like “schizophrenics should be killed.”
